Biography

Fisher K. Law, also a native of Cartersville, Georgia, previously practiced law in the Trial & Global Disputes group of King & Spalding LLP, a leading international law firm headquartered in Atlanta. In that role, Fisher represented blue-chip clients in disputes of all kinds, ranging from complex commercial litigation, business torts, trespass and nuisance claims, fiduciary litigation, class actions, securities fraud, shareholder disputes, derivative litigation, and government investigations. Now at the Evans Law Firm, Fisher has a general trial practice, with a heavy emphasis on land disputes and representing landowners in eminent domain and condemnation proceedings. Having grown up on a historic farm in Cartersville, Fisher is intimately familiar landowners' wants, needs, and concerns and is devoted to protecting their interests from encroachments of all kinds.

Fisher received a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. In law school, Fisher served as a member of the Editorial Board and, later, as the Executive Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review. Before entering private practice, Fisher served for two years as law clerk to the Honorable Clay D. Land, district court judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, in Columbus, Georgia.
